DEPOSIT OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE-ANGLETON

This full-time position will provide a full range of bookkeeping functions including professional, technical and general support to both customers and bank personnel. Oral communication is a primary function in the bookkeeping department – assisting both external and internal customers with account issues and questions, including those related to electronic banking. In addition, this position will be responsible for working charge-offs, reporting charge-offs to ChexSystems, processing return items and other bookkeeping functions and duties as assigned.

The qualified candidate should have excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills; the ability to meet deadlines; and the ability to effectively communicate, with strong proficiency in oral and written communications. All forms of communication must be relayed in a professional, courteous manner, and presented concisely and accurately. The capability to thoroughly and accurately troubleshoot, assess, and resolve customer issues will be required. The ability to maintain a strong professional presence and a good rapport with co-workers, as well as customers, will be a necessity. Experience with, and a basic knowledge of, Microsoft Word and Excel will be required. The preferred candidate will have a strong knowledge of banking products and previous financial institution bookkeeping experience.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
