This full-time position will provide a full range of bookkeeping functions including professional, technical and general support to both customers and bank personnel.  Oral communication is a primary function in the bookkeeping department – assisting both external and internal customers with account issues and questions, including those related to electronic banking.  In addition, this position will be responsible for processing charge-off accounts, processing return items, large item verification, working with Fedline, processing reclamations and other bookkeeping functions and duties as assigned.  The qualified candidate should have superior telephone etiquette, excellent customer service skills and organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.  Computer skills should include Microsoft Office Word and Excel.  Previous financial institution bookkeeping experience preferred.  Educational background requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
