Getting Back to Our Roots: Opening Our New Banking Center in Freeport, TX

The roots of our bank run deep in the Texas Gulf Coast community. That’s why we are proud to announce the completion of our new banking center at the Texas Gulf Bank branch location in Freeport, Texas.
The new bank building at 1400 Brazosport Boulevard is set to open on Tuesday, February 22, better known as “Twosday 2/22/22.”
The project is the result of our bank’s continued support of the city of Freeport, where our story started more than 100 years ago. Now, we are renewing our commitment to the place where the bank began to support valued members of the local community.
Preparing for the Transition to Our New Bank in Freeport, TX
In May 2021, we announced the groundbreaking of our new Freeport banking center on Brazosport Boulevard. The goal of the project was to update our presence in Freeport to better serve our customers. The enhancements include:
- The latest banking technology and equipment to serve both business and personal banking customers.
- A multi-lane motor bank for business and personal customers.
- Drive-up ATM and night drop services.
- An updated coastal look to both the exterior and interior of the building.
We are excited to provide these enhanced services to our customers at the new banking center, which was built on the same lot as the old location.
While we are officially back to full business hours on 2/22/22, we are also planning to host a grand re-opening in March that will celebrate our revitalized presence in Brazoria County.
