SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – ANGLETON
This full-time position will be responsible for administration of the bank’s core processing systems, as well as performing other duties and tasks associated with the position. Tasks will include, but not be limited to: research, recommend and develop on the overall infrastructure and network strategy; serve as administrator for core applications including Jack Henry; set up and manage core, network and application accounts; assist with setup and troubleshooting workstations; assist in maintaining an internal site that contains technical documentation, manuals and IT policies; assist with audits; manage mobile devices and support for devices; interact with third party vendors as needed; and monitor for security violations and take corrective action.
The qualified candidate should possess proficiency in both written and oral communication, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work under pressure. Working independently and having the capability of making decisions within established guidelines will be necessary. A strong knowledge of Apple iPhones and iPads, VMWare, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and networking concepts will be needed. In addition, proficiency in Microsoft Office products will be essential. The preferred candidate will have some experience as an operator or administrator of a core banking processing system, preferably Jack Henry, with applications such as Xperience, OnBoard, Synergy, eSign, Teller, and Cognos, and a mid-level understanding of networking and system administration.
