Through an agency account, Texas Gulf Bank's Wealth Management Department acts as your personal agent in developing a financial and investment strategy for you. Once we have developed the strategy and agreed upon an appropriate asset allocation to match, we will invest your funds accordingly. Dividend collection and bill payment services are also available to our agency account customers.
Complete estate planning services are available through our Wealth Managment Department. We work as a team with you, your attorney and your accountant to develop and implement an estate plan that best serves your heirs. A trust officer will assist in determining the best estate plan for you, and work to carry out the plan based on your net worth and financial needs.
Estates, Wills and Probate
Texas Gulf Bank can serve as Executor or Co-executor for your estate. We can also assist when a third, impartial party is needed to help settle or probate an estate.
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
We offer both Trustee and Self-Directed IRAs. Self-Directed IRAs are managed by you, whereas Trustee IRAs are managed by a Texas Gulf Bank wealth management officer. You have the option to roll over your IRA when you retire and want to transfer your pension/benefit plan from a company plan. You can also transfer your IRA from another bank. After the transfer, you can choose to make the IRA either Self-directed or Trustee-managed.
Our wealth management officers can consult with your attorney and accountant to help you set up a trust to provide income for you or another beneficiary. Some examples of beneficiaries for your trust include charitable organizations, children or grandchildren.
