BANK SECRECY ACT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

This position will assist in the implementation and administration of all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Program as well as various assignments supporting the program of the bank under the guidance of the BSA Officer.  The primary duty of this position consists of the preparation and submission of the bank’s Currency Transaction Reports thru E-filing within the required timeframes.  Advises the BSA Officer of emerging BSA issues and assists the bank in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.  Assists the BSA Officer in ensuring department activities run smoothly and efficiently.

Accuracy, good organizational skills and strong communication skills will be required.  A strong knowledge of BSA regulations will be needed. Microsoft Word and Excel applications experience also needed.  A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six months of related experience will be required.
