MARY ANN MCDANIEL APPOINTED MANAGER OF TREASURY SERVICES AND BRANCH MANAGER FOR TEXAS GULF BANK HOUSTON
HOUSTON, TX, May 12, 2009: Mary Ann McDaniel has been appointed Manager of Treasury Services and Branch Manager for Texas Gulf Bank Houston, an independently owned and operated bank established in 1913. McDaniel will oversee compliance, banking operations and financial management, as well as corporate and strategic planning for the Houston branch.
Mary Ann began her banking career 30 years ago at First Bank and Trust in West Palm Beach, Florida. There, she managed the bank's accounting department, and was instrumental in coordinating its merger operations when it was purchased by Barnett Bank of Palm Beach County. Since then, McDaniel has held multiple management positions with strong community banks where she has overseen bank operations, accounting, compliance, information technology, facilities planning and security as well as training for staff. Since coming to Houston in 1999, McDaniel has held senior leadership positions with Bank of Tanglewood, Hibernia Bank and Bank of Houston. Prior to joining Texas Gulf Bank, she served as a Senior Consultant for Sheshunoff Consulting & Technology in Austin. At Sheshunoff, she concentrated on helping the firm's banking clients achieve excellence in their compliance programs.
